What is up with these folk who are always talking about blessings, and specifically THEIR blessing? They have worship songs entreating God to pour out His blessing on them. The way they talk about blessing, clearly they mean material things. And it comes from folk who aren't into the prosperity gospel, too. Is it such a trivial thing that God took on human flesh and suffered and died to give you eternal life, that you have to have a house and a new car, too?
