Wandering back to the topic of tithing, the most valuable thing that God has given us, far beyond financial resources, is time, so why don't we hear anyone teaching that 10% of our time is to be devoted to God? 16.8 hours a week is not that much, I spend almost that much time a week watching TV during football season, and I'm really not a TV person. An hour of devotional time in the morning, and another in the evening, added to church attendance and a minimum of ministry service, and that 16.8 hours a week is easily exceeded. So why don't we do it?
Probably the same reason why most Christians haven't read through the Bible.
