KJV lunacy

Wow, what can you say about folks who believe that an English translation is divinely inspired? About as much as you can about the ignorance-based weirdness you get from those who've been poisoned by the Nation of Islam when it comes to the KJV. You can spot one of these victims of NOI propaganda pretty easily, they will tell you that King James was the translator of the KJV (that's how it got the name, of course), and then go onto a rant about the supposed perversions of James I and how he changed the Bible to suit his own purposes (as if we don't have the sources in the original languages). Talking Bible to someone who hasn't read it but been corrupted by the NOI is a lot like talking to someone who believes that the Da Vinci Code is historically solid.

It seems that the only thing that we as Americans are more ignorant of than the Bible is the History of the Bible.
